Good Word Membership
Membership here at Good Word Church is referred to as Good of the Land. Good of the Land is clearly defined as the continual willingness in obedience to submit to one another towards Jesus Christ the Word of God manifested through your actions. Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
1 Corinthians 12:25: That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 1 Corinthians 12:26: And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it. |
Good Word Church very unique structure is based on Second Thessalonians 2:17
Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.
We believe it is our job to make your walk in the Lord established!
We believe it is our job to find the lost, institute what they need to know in acting upon it, or building on what they already know; and bring all into being on a solid rock foundation in Christ Jesus. (Luke 6:48)
We believe it is our job to make you not only a hearer, but a doer of the Word of God. Thereby bring you into conformity with the Word of God.
Thoroughly furnished in every good word and work
Pastor Russell Bell Jr. has been anointed according to the grace of God as a wise master builder. He has digged deep in the Word of God since his born again experience laying rock solid foundations for believers for over 25 years.
1 Corinthians 3:10: According to the grace of God which is given unto me as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation;
Luke 6:48: He is like a man which built a house and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
We will put you on a rock solid foundation!
We believe that it is our responsibility to feed you starting from the milk of God’s Word to the meat. We do this through Believer meetings that are held weekly at the Church in intervals. We take this very seriously in giving account for your very soul. Believer meetings are by member invitation only in which we teach you the Good Word of God and without dogs. Here you are taught to understand, receive and give anointing’s, impartations, intercessions, identify offices, gifts of Spirit, wisdom, judgements, equity, rich towards God, how to take the wealth of the wicked, laying on of hands, faith toward God, meditation (God’s way), baptisms, ministry giving, the force of faith, repentance from dead works, teaching your lips how to answer, eternal judgment, holding fast confession, walking in love and the list goes on.
1 Corinthians 10:3: and did all eat the same spiritual meat;
1 Corinthians 3:2: I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
Hebrews 5:12: For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
We know the reward of a skillful Believer!
Hebrews 5:14: But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
This is why the Lord has commended us to give you the Good of the Land.
Because of these things we believe that the tithe belongs strictly to your local Church.
And that the meat in God's house (your local Church) is storehouse Good Word.
Malachi 3:10: Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house;
This is where your Membership at Good Word has privileges called Good of the Land.

Hebrews 6:5: And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
Ephesians 5:21: Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Love should be shown at all times.
Hebrews 13:1: let brotherly love continue.
People should never be afraid to approach you because of your love for Christ they should be able to know that you are Jesus' disciple not guess it!
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
John 13:35 by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Membership at Good Word is based upon knowing those who labor among you being in a peaceful atmosphere.
1 Thessolonians 5:12: And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
1 Thessolonians 5:13: And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
We should submit ourselves to those who have rule over us following their faith and those who help them.
Hebrews 13:7: Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
1 Corinthians 16:16: That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to everyone that helpeth with us, and labored.
All leaders will give an account of every action in Love for all Good of the Land souls.
Hebrews 13:17: Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
1 Peter 5:5: Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
Romans 15:30: Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
1 Peter 5:2: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
All leaders will lead by example and never Lord (control) over God's People
1 Peter 5:3: Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.
All leaders are esteem very highly in Love.
Your membership is based upon your work by faith in the Lord here at Good Word.
Your membership is based upon your esteem to those who are over you in the Lord.

Your membership is based upon your grace and mercy towards your Brothers and Sisters in Christ by:
· Warning them that are unruly.
· Comforting the feebleminded.
· Supporting the weak.
· Being patient towards all men (saved or unsaved).
· Not rendering evil for evil.
1 Thessolonians 5:14: Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
1 Thessolonians 5:15: See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
As a result your membership You will be fully confident in the Lord.

Walk in your particular gifting confidently!
